On 21st February, 2026, AQ-HANSON CARE Foundation led by the Founder, Mr. Aquinas Hanson Jnr officially broke ground for the construction of a new state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Elmina Government Hospital.

The Foundation believes every newborn baby deserves a fighting chance, regardless of where they are born. This facility will provide life-saving technology and specialized care right here in Elmina, ensuring fewer transfers and more lives saved.

We have that this project will bring a great relief to parents and babies in and around KEEA and will fill the infrastructural gap in the delivery of quality health care to new born babies.
